Friday Thoughts

Happy Friday

Friday is my most favorite day of the week.

And we are spending it at one of my favorite places, the beach in Southern California.

On a quick trip to California this weekend to visit my husbands family.

Not going to lie, this always makes me anxious. But this weekend I am practicing letting that go.

How do you desire to feel? Choose the thought that will make you feel that.
  • Instead of being quiet and reserved I will be myself
  • Instead of comparing myself to others I will love who I am and what I look like
  • Instead of worrying about being perfect I will accept my beautiful flaws

Exercise and the beach always clear my head and bring me back to my true self

What works for those of reading? How do you guys desire to feel? What thoughts will get you there? Let’s help keep each other accountable. Drop a comment or email me at [email protected]

Looking for a little sweat before your weekend shenanigans?

Try this out and let me know how it goes:

Perform 8 minutes, completing as many rounds as you can:

  • 16 lunges (8 each leg)
  • 12 body weight squats
  • 8 push ups
  • 20 – 30 second side plank, each side

Any move can be modified or scaled, that’s the great thing about exercise, (message me if you need help with this!). Your version may be different than another readers. But, we will all have the same sense of accomplishment and sweat, as long as you put your heart in it and get it done!

Afterwards, take 5 minutes to yourself. Breath in and out, deeply, filling the bottom of your lungs. Let the stress melt away. Think of the good things in your life right now. Acknowledge the pain you may be in or any negativity. Then quickly allow it to leave. Thank by your body for all or does for you.

Then get after the weekend ♥️
